That will teach you to say No to Panfish :smt013
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

I hear the south side of the parking lot of the south boat ramp has been giving up smallmouth and carp with bread. I threw a line in yesterday and watched a 2 lbs bass follow my lure. No hook-ups because I didn't have any bread.

Ya never know...probably worth a try.  Bring a mountain bike, the trails are prime.

Pretty good, could be a tad better, but better than last year.

Funny.  I woke this am thinking to myself that it was almost time to hit Mendo.  Spent the day building WAF.  Good to know I didn't miss anything.  It is just a matter of time.

Per the local paper, the level is due to come up 14 feet. It is supposed to cover the parking lot of the south boat ramp. Who knows if it will really happen. I guess it will depend on how much rain we get.

Normal "full" is 748 ft.  We have excercised our right this year to raise it to 761.  This won't really impact yaks at all, and will be much better for everyone over the couse of the year.  Whether or not we'll get enough rain to see 761 is a whole nother deal.

I guess that will make Bu-Shay a boat-in campground   :smt003

Thanks for the update, I was thinking of hitting it on the 23rd but may hold off a couple more weeks.

Any word if Craig will have livebait at the north ramp? Is there anywhere else around to find live bait? I haven't got the shad catching figured out yet.

I have no idea what he is up to other than being 100% MIA at this time...there is no other local source.
