Clear Lake, 03-08,09-08 Weekend

Had to stand down from the Doran trip but it was great to be around when F/M showed up. State Park is an amazing place to fish/camp. Right next to Kelsey creek and some of my favorite wooded areas that the kayak offers fantastic access to. It was a pleasure to show lady M around the lake. It was my intent to put her on a monster while I left freddie to score big points on his own. I thought that I was too tight to the point and that she would be in the zone. I should have stopped fishing. Still it felt great and was an exciting battle. I had never seen a bass so big around. Truly the example why the largemouth is reffered to as a pig or hog. Ive caught bigger fish than this but none as hulking. I wish I would have taken a picture from the top. It was great to see you 2 again. Come back up and give me another chance to put M on a monster.

Coool reports and pics.  Glad to see Freddie and Melissa enjoying a rare fishing/camping weekend together. Melissa looks like she just had her best weekend of fishing ever.  Her cute little bass thumb is photo proof.
