Had absolutely no time, Heard about Monster trout, so WTF, grab some AOYT points real quick ,

 Nada.... Tried for Mr. LMB , would not even post, but interesting new restriction on our yak

 during " Mussel Quarantine Era ".....

               No Moisture is allowed in your yak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 So much as a Teaspoon or trickle and you go home ( wish they would have sent me packing!!! )

 Quick Gear Question,....

  Anybody have a idea as to why my Depth Finder suddenly stops giving me a solid bottom line

 and then just intermittent marks of the bottom, then go back to giving a solid line again.

It also does not seem to want to mark fish anymore since I let the CC&K boys drag my Yak around

 to the ISE shows.

I'm wondering if they knocked it hard @ one point and screwed up the transducer mount

I think they bonked your 'ducer mount...

 

They say microscopic mussels larvae or what ever can reside in the smallest amount of water.

 They Also said they turned away yaks yesterday.

  My yak had plenty of water in it, but they let me on the lake anyway. 

 Hate those mudholes!!!!!!!  As in San Pablow Res too....

 With the Mussel quarantine BS, Late opening times and JackAss East Bay Police Shakedowns,

 They can have those lakes all to themselves, 

 Somebody just hit me in the Head and save me a trip next time I decide to go to either one of

 these mudholes again

Too bad you were able to find the fish. Maybe next time. I don't have any answers as to the FF problems but, let me know what you find out. My FF has been acting up too. It works perfectly except it doesn't mark fish anymore. I miss looking at those nice little haystacks on my screen.

This particular unit is the Hummingbird 717,  supposed to take the place of Matrix 17
      ( which also went south, but i bought it in the bargin Bin so Buyer beware on that )

 I'm going to remount it and I'll let ya know if problem is sloved

Too bad about the skunk, thats a nice lake.

I've had good days and SAD days w/the bass..ZIPPO days on the trout....and the PICS seem to come out looking so SWEET and BLUE?...can't figure that one out!...trollin for trout there is TOUGH!! as soon as you get a good run going, you run out of room!
