Doran Park 3/8/08

Well, the trip to Doran went well.  It was a lot colder and windier than last month, but we had fun just the same.  My son and I got there about 10:00 and we left about 12:30ish.

I didn't see any other NCKAers out there.  Lots of surfers and boogie boarders. 

We will, most likely, be going out again sometime next month.  If you've never tried surfing your yak, I would heartily recommend it.

My son did get one decent picture in so....here it is.

Thanks for the inspiration. hopefully ill be able to join you guys next time. Ill be out there 3/21-22 camping and riding waves with some friends. ill post a hook up later.
Great picture and Im glad to see you strapped on a brain bucket. Gettin smacked on the melon with a 40# peice of plastic is a special kind of hurt.
