Mendo dawn patrol 7/3

I ran into the prez of the Striped Bass Assoc. this am, he said Mendo has been WFO topwater from first light til about 730-9:00.  I will be there at 0530 at the dam, company welcome.

Curse the 4 hour drive.

I'm going to Lake memdo this weekend and have heard great things about the striper fishing.  someone said to go to the main page and look for your article on how to catch stripers at lake mendocino and I couldn't find it. Thyey were on top last weekend, but I went out Tuesday night with jdyak and a few others and it was NOT happening.  This is generally way too late in the summer, but this year has been whacky.  If its going to go down it will either be early in the am or late in the pm.  Good luck
