The cart that I have is a peice of crap.  I realized the hard way at Mendo last November.  I am going to buy a roleez sometime soon.  What is the best way to stow the roleez balloon-like wheels while on the water?  The wheels on my old cart were small enough to stow behind my milk crate, but I doubt I can do that with the roleez.

Thanks Pat,
That might be the only solution.  It shouldn't be a major problem anyway, since I hardly use the cart.  When I did use it, it wouldn't have been a big deal to walk back to the car and put the wheels away.

I think most people store it in their front hatch.  Both wheels come off and then i think the frame folds up and all parts fit nicely inside most front hatches.

BTW, I'm also interested in a roleez, wonder if we can get a group discount? :smt003

In my marauder, I can fit both wheels in the front hatch and the frame in the center hatch.

I've also brought a bike lock with me and locked it to a post or tree, etc. out of the way when on the water.

Depends where I go and how much riff raff is around.

Will the roleez wheels fit in the front hatch?  They are freakin huge!

I jokingly mentioned it but don't think it'll happen.  About a year ago, Roleez offered a one-time group discount to NCKA members.  I think about 20 people were involved.  Doubt they would give it to us again.

A lot of people can fit them into their front hatch but of course it depends on your yak.

If necessary, carry a small hand pump with you. You can always slightly deflate the wheels to fit.

NCKA got a group discount from Roll-EZ approx 4-5 months ago. Don't know if Roll-EZ plans an encore offering. But many people signed up for that initial offering.

On my P15 I stow both wheels inside the front hatch and I strap the folded frame to the hatch using the hatch straps.  No problem! :smt003

They fit nicely apart in the front hatch of my Trident. The wheel also act as extra floatation when on the big blue.
