After being on the water for awhile, my a@@ gets real sore  :moon and have to call it an early day due to the problem  :smt012 I have even taken a 2" foam rubber pad with me to help, but no luck  :smt012 I would like to hear from all on your recommendations and where I might buy and/or try one. Thanks from my other end  :smt004

Rory I added a gel seat pad to my seat. My Marauder is flat in the seat area and my butt isn't. After a long day I had trouble getting out of the saddle. I bought the black one (thicker) from Clavey in Petaluma. I actually bought two because I sacrificed one to the "Side of the road" gods on the way home from Montezuma last year. Some guys use inflatable pads, foam, self inflating, etc.

Get a high-back Surf to Summit seat and attach some type of additional cush. under it.
Like Shimmy mentioned.....there are choices.
I use a self-inflating pad that has the clippy things on it.
I've seen some from mossy oak(hunting gear) they clip it around the waist and it covers the butt, so you can sit on the ground without carrying something extra.(clip it to your seat and it stays with it where ever it goes)

I use my bike shorts (Extra padding inseam) while on my OB, and I have a Surf -To summit GTS seat. (Kinda wished I got the high back now though) and the combo seems to help extend my stay on the water.  My old Hobie stock seat, killed me!

Well, thanks for the info. I ordered a Surf to Summit GTS Pro Molded Foam seat with fishing pack from Kayakfishinggear.com. It was "VERY" pricey, but I think I will be very happy with it. Should have it by Friday. They automatically do a priority shipping on it. So, hoping to go out all of this weekend to do a break-in. (Fri, Sat and Sun) See you guys at C.C. on Sat. Let's "ALL" have tight lines.  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044
