Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

We sure do. Last time I was there, some yahoo was tearing it up in a pb, just flagrantly disregarding the 5 mph limit, right up to shore. I hope this no-gas rule has some teeth.

Mick,

There are many stupid obnoxious power boaters out there; but there are is also such a thing as very kind and intelligent power boaters.

In a kinder, gentler world, all folks would have kayaks, canoes, or otherwise quiet, less obnoxious and unassuming boats.

However.  When I'm out on the ocean, when I want a friend, I am always very glad to  use engines, and prefer the small, four stroke Honda Motors.

I love and respect my kayak, but I also love my friends' Zodiak, and big fishing boats.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wish people on the water had more respect for each other.  We do that in Mendocino.

Sounds too good to be true. Del Valle has a 10 mph speed limit - which a majority don't follow anyway...cause there's no one out there handing them speeding tickets  :smt011 I've even seen the staff at the boathouse take the rentals out on a high speed joy ride :smt011

Seriously I don't understand people who drive too fast, especially on the water.

I suppose that some laws will have to be passed to contain us.

I had hoped that we as a people would politely contain ourselves.

Evidently not.
