It looks like a great solution for the biggest problem I've had taking my flyrod out on my kayak.  But, it seems like $30 is a bit pricey for something you could probably make yourself out of some PVC.

That is cool.  I have a Scotty and it also works well, but doesn't do the vertical thing.
