What a CRAZY Crew!

The easy way I found to post a video is to upload your video to youtube, then you can link it to the post using the youtube button. I think Bill posted a thread as a how-to.

CHEERS!

Ouch... Those conditions look pretty brutal. Way to give it a try though.

Yup... it was crazy.  It was my first bonafide surf launch and landing in the bay.  It was cold and nasty unlike the two nice days before when we should have gone.

There was about an hour in between when it got nice out there.  It's a good thing we didn't paddle out to the main channel.  We might not have made it back to shore.

It was fun playing around, but the fishing almost always sucks in those conditions.

I should stop fishing with Duane.  The last time I fished with him at the airport, we got caught in a hail storm.

If a fish will bite it, Red will sacrifice it.  Aint never a baitfish escaped the cruel clutches of Redfish's 7/0 hooks.

Ha, saw you crazy @$$es bobbin' around out there the other day. I was one of the landlocked schlubs on the bank. Stuck on shore, I was envious of you guys despite the mess out there.
So any recommendations for getting started with a kayak...as in from absolute beginning?

Welcome Pisciform :smt006

You have just taken the first step,

Maybe put up a post on General part of this forum and introduce yourself...

 and the calvery will arrive...

There is much information on this site and many bias as to which kayak is best...

"try before you buy"  many of us have more than 1 kayak and watch the " Hook ups "

if ya make it out with me, I can bring a extra Hobie for you to try,

Scallen is a Ocean kayak Team guy and can hook ya up,  others have wilderness systems Tarpon, Malibu

and Cobra Murader... all fine Kayaks with differences to them that would be specific towards

 your wants and needs..

Scawfish on this site also sells Kayaks and is a Good person to look up for maybe a "Blem"

 or end of year Deal...

Welcome to the Madness ........ :smt002 ....... Danglin
