We started our drift this morning with light showers and about 8:30 it poured like crazy and I thought this is gonna be miserable, ten minutes later the showers quit for the rest of the day. The river flow is the best I have ever fished on the Russian. The water is a real fishy green....but  other than one hook-up/unbutton and a take down  for  HOLY TOLEDO , today was a lot of sightseeing. There were about six drift boats in our vicinity  throughout the day and reports  from zero on a couple boats to 3 fish on five hook-ups on another.  We are going to do it again tomorrow (thurs)  because these conditions will not last forever and the weekends are too crowded.  Maybe I will get fired from work and then I can fish seven days a week?????  Makes sense to me...........
