Just back from weeks in Tropical Baja California and I decided to take the Family for some cold weather fun. I keep saying how much I love this little kayak, well after a day a charging down hills in the snow in one I'm like a six year old kid again. I've Sledded all over this country on garbage can lids, glad trash bags, Poly molded sleds of every variety, but I've never had a controlled ride down a snow slope as fun and exhilarating as that mini-x. The place is Titlow Hill about 30 minutes outside of Eureka. Elevation 3000'

I've done Surfboards on snow and sleds on sand but's that just nutts. I have a little sled that they don't make anymore, maybe one of the Kayaks Co. can make some up. They look a little Joelesque but they turn great and stop when you pull back, and there is no need for a PFD and no room for the rod. :smt003
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
