Fished Tahoe with Zilla today. Day started off at 9 degrees. Yea it was cold. The water left over in my transducer holder was frozen solid before I got under way. So the FF wasn't working properly until I could chip away some of it with a knife.
Zilla got 2 rainbows. ZERO for me. ( Dodged a bullet Mahi ) :smt003
The battery was cold and low so not many pics. I was saving it for the fish.
Pic1~ Gettin ready to start
Pic 2~ Zilla on the water
Pic3~ Nice view

Tote and Zilla-

Great try for that mack guys. With all that snow on the ground, it would be fun to make a little slide out of it and launch your yak from it. That's straight up crazy stuff... I hope you guys defrosted at the pub before you hit the road to go home.

Funny you should say that.
Zilla took his kayak off his truck at the ramp and it made it's way down the ramp like a toboggan to the water. Zilla was sliding down the ramp too and followed it into the water. He didn't fall but he did get his feet wet. At the base of the ramp it was solid ice from where the water was washing up.
