I finally got the pics from my buddy Steve today!  We are members of the Southside fishing club  (Originally started by Hank in J town)  http://www.southsideanglersclub.com  and we entered the monthly trout derby.

We heard big trout were being caught out there and it was true!!  Steve got a 10.75 and I got a 9 and 4.5lber. They are big ugly ones...not sure if they are even edible!!??  We trolled berkley minnows on the surface. Go get em!!

Umm, Dave, did you sign up for AOTY?  :smt003 Very nice fish.

I used to work with Hank's daughter before she and her family moved to Morro Bay.

Not as well as if they had the full thing. :smt003   Imagine what a battle that would be with a full fin.  IMHO, such a shame that hatcheries sacrifice quality for quantity.  But I guess it's a business.  Sorry for the threadjack.
