Check it out...http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/raskin/17377

Sounds like souped up plastic baggie for cameras and would be cheap insurance.  If someone gets one I'd sure like a report.

Bottom line...it keeps your camera dry, allows you to take good pictures and can float with your camera in it.
My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dog already thinks I am.

I should likely have one of those since I've doused 3 cameras, but it's hard to justify the $30 when a new 5 MP camera is only around $100 now...  I'm stubborn that way!   :smt002

Being an honorable sportsman is way more important than what you catch.

You’ve doused 3 cameras which means you are on your 4th, at $100 each, that’s $400.  A waterproof camera is about $300.  Or is it the old “I’m gonna keep this camera dry” thought that keeps you going? :smt003

I checked out a similar product from another manufacturer. It went straight back to the store. The price is $30? It has a polycarbonate lens. The one I looked at (an Aquapac) was scratched and distorted right out of the box. At that price worth a look, but I wouldn't expect great results.

Dry-Bags-For-Cameras .......well........

The clear ones, where you can leave the camera in them and take pictures through the side-wall of the bag...JUST KNOW THAT...You Absolutely Cannot Open The Bag For Any Reason When You Are Out On The Water......or your wet fingers will introduce water to the bag-interior.   Then when you close it with that dampness in there, the bag becomes a humidity chamber.

Judd is right. I just wouldn't trust any camera bag.
Just get a decent waterproof camera.  I sure love the Optio.
