Well the way I was taught was to cube up some halibut and with a boiling pot of water add one can of seven up, sprinkle your favorite spices onto your fish and add to the water. Next wait until the fish starts to float. Thats when you know its done. In the meantime saute some garlic butter sauce in a small pan. After removing the Hali generously spread sauce all over the butt, next to your avail you may garnish with a little basil or your fresh herb of choice... Enjoy

Actually you can do this with any fish (i.e. Rock Fish, Butts, ect) The way I use it is boil 1 gallon water. Add 1 cup salt and 1 cup sugar, cube fish add to water, floats, dip in butter sauce. I'm HUGREY!!!!
