Had to get a line wet today and wanted to get the kids out on the beach, so we hit Big Lagoon for an hour or so.  I took a worm and a bobber out about 40 yards and headed back in to play with the kids.  We dammed the little creek, played frisbee and hunted around.  It's a cool spot.  Last time I drove down at this spot the water was so high you couldn't even drive along the shore.  Since then the lagoon has breached and flowed off into the ocean.  There were a couple seals hanging around, so there are probably fish too, but no WFO bite where we were.  I think a couple/few hours on the troll here with little spinners or even just a worm and you'd be into some decent trout to 18" and the chance of an adult steelie.  Awesome day w/o wind and warmer than lately - around 55 degrees.  The days are getting longer!   :smt001

Hi AK,  Just Beautiful.

But Wait:  Is that a 2006 Indigo Blue Extentended Cab Toyota Tacoma?
If not, what is it?

Great way to nurture the kids, no matter what they decide to do as they get older the time spent at the shore will always be with them. The boots are cool.

Environmental education (experiences) in young kids (grade school and earlier) is like planting a seed, often times it will lie dormant under the surface for years (jr high and high school) , but then blossom again as they get older.

Great pics, brings back memories for me, me with my parents, and then my kids with me,  (all pre digital era).
