Too bad, took the headcam out and it was fritzo Got a lottle bit of footage on the optio

probably need to learn about the headcam but simple on/shoot/off wasn't doing what it was supposed to, and in primo conditions and rare chance for me to get on the h2o

gd headcam   :occasion18:

Launched right off the beach and made it out alright

Closing time was a whole different matter My bro and nephew were trying to find the sweet spot talking to me over the cellphone but it was pretty much10-15fters slamming all around me

Paddled south to buoy and the break stretched out the whole way

Tried to sneak in through the middle and same thing

Paul - let me know when you plan on paddling out there again. Always wanted to find a sweet spot where you can view Mavericks without becoming "one with the wave" if you know what I mean  :smt002

Glad to see that you're back in the saddle  :smt023

bluekayak....nails salmon when nobody else does, frequently posts trips logging untold numbers of miles paddled, paddles around in the vicinity of fresh gws kills and now he's posting pics from the backside of a world renowned big wave.

Are we sure he really exists?  All we ever see is a blue bow.......you sure you're not superman when not on the water.

Wow blue that's impressive. Paddling in those conditions is more than tough. You have proven your waterman skillz yet again. :worship Blurry pics or not!

nice pics, I wonder if in another life you would have been in that lineup?

I have never surfed mavs and never will, getting cleaned up at ross cove is bad enough.
