lafayette 12-27 COLD AND SLOW

got there at 8 am and there was a half inch of frost on the dock. It was CCCOOOLLLDDD!!!! fished till about 4.30 and not one fish. i tried everything flies, nightcrawlers, jigs, drop shot, power bait and i got NOTHING HANDS WENT NUMB LEGS AND FEET ALSO WENT NUMB DIDN'T EVEN GET A BITE!!! sorry no pics hands were way to cold to attempt handling a camera

i know that FRICKEN' FREEZING place all too well.....some days I did good with 7"senkos(wacky) into the tullies, then other days NADA!  same tullies, same lure, same time of morning.
Put in many of trout-trollin-miles too...4zelchO'   
i like it because i can be there in 20min. and it has lots of BASSY(lookin) places for them to hide in....sometimes hiding TOO good.

there are those BigMt.Lassen planters in there, but none for me,YET!
and have left there smellin of SKUNK many times.

Way to hang in there. Never had much luck at LR. In fact the only quality fish I have seen from LR were LMB caught by Adam.

for me the lake has been red hot or ice cold and it just so happens i went when it was ice cold ohh well next year
