Going Down Swinging

  Any spare time I had, it was in chase of my Missing slot on the AOTY Salmon ..

 Could not make the trip up north, just did not have time...or Know How ...But...

 I did just find a nice little Jem right here in Sac , it's a odd place with unusual attributes that lend it to

 possibly hold salmon, and a whole lot more

 Hit it a few times, with a King Follow on Wensday after work, My Heart stopped as it rushed my Blue Fox,

but Bolted as it neared the Yak ...............

What to do,  What to do....  need a Salmon ......

 Could not drive up to Sac and try this place again, would feel like I was going to work, not worth it....

 Figure on maybe a Land locked king out of Berryesa and a

     Small Mouth upgrade would set me up nice  for a last second StealHead..........

 Well, Berryesa was Berryesa,
 
  Picked up a Dozen nice smallies and LMB with ONE hit @ 110' that I missed

 Cold, Feet Frozen, jigged a Duh Spoon like no tomarrow with my best being a 3lb + LMB
         ( no Pic, hands were too cold @ the time )

  Nice to get out,    But.........

 That's it,  Uncle!!!!!!  Throwing in the Towel for the year

 can't justify spending any more time away from the Fam, were kind of on a Mini Vaca right now.....  

 The AOTY is a Good Gig,

 Got me thinking, even found a new spot ( PM me if ya want more Intel on that ).....

danglin, your perseverance and determination are commendable. in addition,your report was enjoyable. congrats on all the fish you caught this year. i plan on getting into the game for '08. the madness just keeps sucking me in deeper and deeper. my wife keeps trying to throw me a line but i think its too late.

 I heard some old salt say that " Salmon were going on the Endangered Species List "?????

  Seems a little too late for that too...

 BTW, I'm getting pms for my new launch spot thinking it's for berryesa,

Dan....what a GORGEOUS little launch-road...(the last of the three pictures you posted)....and there's hardly ANY water draw-down......this cannot be Berryessa, can it?   Just can't be.   

I want to launch in such a beautiful little place.
