hello all went to amador for a quick 4 hour fishing trip, had  to cut it short do to the need to study for finals.  it was tough fishing to day though.  on the water by 7 and hooked a good 3+ lb right off the bat.  hooked him on the diwa 2.5 shad, on top water.  then all shut down, the only thing biting was the cold at my hands, man it was cold.  Then about 2 hr later got another one in the same spot,  looked darn near the same fish also ,  all and all a good day not too much boat traffic and the ones that were out there were nice enough not to cut me off. lol.

Hay Matthew nice to see you do something besides studying and working :smt013, did you catch your trout on the same lure as last time we where there, at least you didn't get skunked and brought home dinner for a change :smt044. we will have to drag out my 18' kayak and do some fly-fishing in the Delta soon :smt003.

Right on!  Sounds like a worthwhile trip.  Throw down a pic or two next time.

Pat

If the timing is right, Pardee over spring break for trout and kokes would be fun. My son doesn't use downriggers so we might have a chance.  :smt010 Let me know if you are interested.  :smt006
