Van Damme/Mendocino/Fort Bragg Xmas

 
Anyone else plus Ernie/Mendohead going to be near Mendocino around Xmas?
I'm new to the group and want to meet more NCKA folks in person, at least just to say howdy.  To recognize me: skinny guy, gray hair, olive drab Hobie Sport, Dark blue Toyota Tacoma, NCKA hat.    -Matt in Mendocino.

Hi Matt:

         I'll be visiting my Mon at Duncan Place in Ft. Bragg. We could do
a Cowboy Cookie at the Bakery in Mendo or Dave's at the Boatyard.
         My Wife and I will be leaving Xmas. Day. I'm off till after the new year. What's the swell like at VanDamm? I could get a loner
Yak if you want to go out. Any Logs in the parking Lot yet?

  Hi Ernie,

Swells at Van Damme vary day by day, but no logs in the parking lot as yet 
I can guess the swells by sticking my ear out the window and listening to the surf in Mendo Bay. 

I want NCKA stickers too!

           Alex was kind to let me use his Scupper Classic for Xmas. Bill
will be sending me a Sticker for you and I for .Xmas. Look for a
sliver Windstar with a green Scupper Classic in Mendo the Day after
Xmas.

Hi Yaker:

   People in Mendo. are Very Nice. I raised my Two Boys in Albion doing things like Scouting, Kayaking up The Albion River, Logging and
thing most people in the City only read about in Nat. Geo.
   I miss the Coast but, plan on retiring there soon.

        Small world, your son Ray went to Mendo. High with my sons Sean and Beau.
       I talked with Dave and Ann about maybe going out with us. Worst case we could all meet up at Navarro if
 there are too many people in Town.
