Slo was an understatement for me. Not so much as a single tap.
The weather was great and the launch is a breeze. Only $5 unless you talk to Chuck E , then it is free.  :smt002
I will definitely be trying this place again. I just hope I have better luck.
I took some pics. The two guys snuggling are Duane and his friend Bob.
They only brought one anchor......allegedly. :smt044

Think like the fish..BE the fish. It doesn't always work, but at least I didn't go hungry.

I arrived late around 11am with Freddie and Lino.  It was a slow day for sure, but we did see a couple big jumpers.  Lino was closest and said one of them was a huge striper and other was a dino.

We stuck it out till dark which was about when the fish started nibbling at my bait.  We got skunked, but it was fun hanging fishing with the guys again.

It got chilly out there when the wind kicked up and it reminded me why guys like Mooch don't like sturgeon fishing.  To warm up we stopped off at the Sukho Thai restaurant (next to Raleys on the way out) for a bowl of Pho soup.  Mmmm...mmmm....good!

When we got back to the parking lot, some fisherman came up to me and said, "Hey... aren't you one of the guys in that kick-ass sturgeon video on YouTube.  That was awesome!"

It was a rockstar moment thanks to Sean and his video camera! :smt025

For those who haven't already seen it, here it is....

Looks nice out there. yep. this cold weather makes snuggling more desirable. :smt044  And I dont mean while anchored up.  I feel like a panzy sittin(snugglin) at home while waitin to hear if the fish are there. :smt003 :smt005

Duane(snuggler) and Bob(snuggle-ie)Great day to out on the water, waiting......and wondering....and waiting. This kind of action is NOT what WE signed up for! but is made a lil easier when there's COMAPNY..love misery.
Did i mention that the tides will be *IDEAL* for sturgeon next week?
