fished deepish, on the edge of a little draw south of the pumphouse that Wizard knows (fished there before and done real well), one big bat ray on the left rod. Moved to the channel edge, couple more bat rays on the left rod, and a bunch of sharks on the right one.

no hits that looked like the right kind...water was still greenish.

Thanks for the report ! I think I am going to hit it on Sunday in the Striper ( windy conditions predicted). The rain the other day may have helped stained the water a little. The DINOS are there, we just need Mother Nature to flush the bait stealer's out of the area.

agree with you capt matt- they are there. Its more than a month since i got my fish off china camp, so i know they're there.  We didn't meter much out on the edge of the channel, seemed better around 12-15 feet...

drove by today, not many boats out, and the water does really look nice. Talked to a DFG guy who said the bankies were catching nice stripers at night using grass off bullhead pt.
