Here comes your chance to help the wildlife up north

Coon Camp Springs Inc. is going to hold a fundraiser dinner in Oakland on January 26. We will be putting on a dinner followed by an auction/sale of many various items. Presently, we have several fresh water rod and reel sets, a fly fishing rod, various tackle, kids fishing kits, a girl's Huffy bicycle, a heavy duty duck hunting coat, Camelback back packs, knives, jumper cables, a large truck ramp, a digital camera/photo printer set and much more. We have been sending out funding requests to hundreds of outdoor gear manufacturers. By the time of the dinner, we should double our volume.

We will also be auctioning off several outdoors trips like deer hunts and pig hunts and a couple hunts at a pheasant club.

Also, on the block will be a chance to learn how to row an Olympic style racing shell. A two-time
Pan American Gold Medalist has offered up a two-day (weekend) private rowing teaching session.

So, mark your calendars, January 26, 2008.
