Anyone try this seat they say they designed it for us, How does it compare to the GTS Elite?

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

Seems pretty pricey, especially for not having a pack.
They tout 2'' of foam on the seat. My Crazy Creek highback seat has 2'' of foam on the seat and it was 1/3 the price. I have this seat for all 4 of our kayaks. Love it.

Hey Tote, is the seat you have the SOT Kayak Chair II or is it the III model?

Yea but is it "PRO THERMAL MOLDED FOAM" :smt013

Thanks Mike I will check it out. It's just I really like the Tall Back Outfitter that Sean sold me 3 yrs and no sign of wear other than a little fading which is my fault for leaving it in the back of the car. I noticed that the better seats hold your legs in a better position, I was going to buy the GTS Elite saw this seat and I was wondering if the lower back made any difference?

Thats the seat I have. It semms to work fine. I had it on my ok prowler 13 and now on my big game. For some reason it feels better on my big game. Go figure.

It is the crazy Creek II. It is the highback, not the medium back. BIG difference. It has a pack on the back that they say it is to fit a camel back.  I looked at the ones with inflatable seats and didn't care for them personally. If I leaned to one side or the other the air in the seat would shift making the side less favored higher then the side I was leaning towards. This pushed me a little off balance. Plus if  a hook got into the inflatable seat it would make for a long sore ass day.

I'm a little confused here.  On the website the CC II looks like a medium back and the CCIII looks like a high back.  I can't find a CCII that looks to have a high back.

And both of them have 1.5" padding on the seat, not 2", in case that extra 1/2 inch makes a difference to you.

I got my new seat yesterday bought 2 of the reg. GTS Elites  :smt007 with fishing pak $180 with shipping from E-Bay. I guess Surf to Summit has a E-bay store where they sell Customer returns but both my seats are brand new. Thought it might be a second but I went over it well and I don't see anything. Sold 1 for $90.
