Could you cast a line from this yak?

Why Do I paddle a kayak instead of a float tube or a pontoon boat? I like seeing where I'm going not where I've been!
Paddle safe and wrap'em tight.

Now...In researching the Inuit, Aleutian and others I learned these people were geniuses at rigging their kayaks.
They could harpoon their prey and still stay upright in a kayak most of us couldn't even sit in without capzising .
When it came to stalking they had it down to. They say a sleeping seal could hear water dripping rom a paddle. yet these people could paddle silently enough to get within harpooning distance of their prey. Tallk about paddling technique.

Defiinitely not the same thing. Your paddle strokes are as loud as when you yell fish on...which can be heard from Highway 152 when you catch a striper in the Forebay. Plus bill was probably begging for the Bananas.

Hey Rickey - what's the white thing infront of the bow? Are they drying their underwear? Is it a sail? Or is it a splash guard?

Actually Grasshopper, It was a blind more or less. the hunter would lead down behind it, low enough not to be seen but still high enough to keep paddling. It could still be a good ideal for sight fishing.
You could probably dry your speedo on it, although you would probably need a bigger frame then the one in the picture.

the real question is:  on long trips afield, where do you poo?
Chryss says you just hang your booty over the side  :smt003

Yes Rockhead, Chryss is right. In your case...paddle to shore and find a bush. It'll be safer. I've seen your yak exits. I would expect this from someone who has to have their dog navigate their kayak for them. Say hi to Sam for me.

Sam is a great navigator. Your lucky she can't load the yak and drive.
