Thanks for the report. How did the water look on the south side of the quarry? I was there a few days ago and the water was VERY muddy at the top of a very small tide. Unusual for that area where the water seems to stay relatively clear at the top of the tide. That stretch of shoreline is always good for a fish or two and I got nada. Good luck next time.

Dude - a 7" shiner on a plug is no small feat!

LOL-- nailed a bright silver rattle trap! 
we marked a ton of fish on the pilings that rod & gun club, but as it turns out they were likely massive shiners...
