Over the winter, I made several attempts to replace the neck gasket on my Kokatat drysuit, but I was never happy with the result, So, I sent my drysuit to Kokatat to have the neck gasket replaced. I've used it quite a bit since this season, and today I noticed that the neck gasket is damaged.

Just a few days ago, I sprayed it with 303, and I didn't notice any issue then. Maybe it happened today, as I had to strip off some of my clothes when on the water, which required removing my head and arms from the suit.

I'd replace it with a neoprene gasket, but I'm sure that would void the warranty. I suppose I'll send it back to Kokatat for replacement ($99 plus shipping). What a bummer!

I had Kokatat replace one of my drysuit neck gaskets with a neoprene one.  It costs a bit more, but it is more durable and way more comfortable, so you could go that route. I'd ask to be sure, but I don't think that would void their warranty on the rest of the suit.

Thanks for the info. I'll check with Kokatat and see if that's an option.
