AOTY for 2026?

Hey Kraken and others...  I've been working with Steeeve and JoeDubC and others and have got a working AOTY system going.

As I mentioned before, I am extremely leery about stepping on the NCKA AOTY's toes, so we decided to just make it a standalone fishing competition, basically a spiritual successor for the AOTY here but more lightweight (it's free, no buy-in needed) and more inclusive (covers all of California).

With suggestions from several people, we've also modified species list a good bit, and use a more easy-to-calculate number system. Submissions are easy, you literally just make a post on the forum and that is the submission.

feel free to take a look, would love to have your entries! So far we've just got a couple entrants but the dynamic leaderboard is already working.

(I'll probably post in the tournaments section soon but would love to have a few more people kicking the tires and giving me feedback - i'm attaching a screen clip of how leaderboard looks currently)

I wanted to add that if we get enough people competing (10-20) on the West Coast Kayak Fishing AOTY site, that I will throw in a custom hat and stickers as a prize.
