Vic!  Great to see ya' chiming in and still livin' the fishy life.  That chart is a little close to home...I pretend I can't read charts or understand months of reference.  I promise not to go around the corner of Tomales Point...prolly evah.  I do fish the mouth with a shark shield though and have that "piece of mind" thing with minor fleeting and trappings of "piece of meat"...see ya' on da wattah' in a boat if I'm lucky... :smt006

Yo !

Yeah I get it.

I have been really shaky one time out at Timber Cove, by myself on Monday birds flying, one seal off in the distance.
..then it got eerily quiet, birds gone , seal gone and a big splash..the hair goes up on my neck . I pull my legs in as I used to straddle my OK T 13  .. mean even the breeze died a bit .. I went in …done for the day .. had a ling and couple nice RF ..good enough

That was creepy it was probably that seal as I have had seals breach off my bow at Salt Point while reeling up ling or RF

But IDK that day LOL

Good info....

I bought a Shark Shield during the group purchase back in 2018. It's still new in the box.
I think I'll give it a try during my 2 week stay at Albion this summer.

Make sure it will still take a charge after all those years. If it doesn't the batteries are pretty easy to find and replace. Different models take different batteries, so find the model number to figure out the one if needed.

Definitely a good idea. I'll do that.

Thank you, :smt006

I looked and looked, but used ones are difficult to find.  lately, all I see and scare me are the seals.  but that's fine by me.
