A buddy and I headed out to HMB Saturday morning and paddled out towards the red buoy around 8. It was fairly windy/choppy in the morning to the point where he was a bit seasick and we were debating heading back in, but luckily the wind died down and we managed to land a decent black rockfish, an undersized and a 26" ling, and a 20" cabezon between the green and red buoys as we made our way back. As a bonus, we had a whale keep us company for about half the day (maybe a little too close for comfort)!

The weather did the same thing up north. Thanks for sharing!
