RPT: Russian Gulch 2/26 and 2/27/26 Sanddab Fishing

Finally, we are getting flat ocean conditions.  I plan to launch from Russina Gulch for the next two days. 
Heading out to 150 - 190 ft of water for sanddabs and soles.
Other anglers are welcome.

Wish I lived near Monterey to chase big flat fish.  It is still fun to catch small flat fish.

First day, Russian Gulch was closed due to the recent storm, and I had to go to Van Damm.  Got 17 sanddabs.
Second day, I was able to fish at my regular spots and got 24 sanddabs and one sole.

I was expecting to get around 4 but only got 2.
