Cleaning up my gear and I clipped these two off.  One’s a random tube. The pink one is a Notorious Tube the fresh/salty guys turned me into.

I run two.  One tied on the end of my leader and a second one about 18” (maybe 12”) up the line on a dropper loop.  Both with 2oz heads for a total of 4oz.  Sinks fine.

I watch them drop and they spiral on the way.  I was so skeptical but the Lings crush on them!    Lift, spiral, dead stick repeat.

They work so well.  The Notorious is the much more economical option.   Pink color was my hot ticket.   I’ll prob lube them before I stuff them up the tube. It’s super violent and I tear them up a bit.  Trim a tail and send them.

Those have been on my wishlist for a long time, just haven't pulled the trigger on any yet.  Looks like it's about time though, haha.

I love tube baits. I use Redrum Baits. Kinda pricey but they are high quality and they have good customer service. I've caught halibut, lings, and rockfish with their tube baits.

I think the bone color one is a Redrum.  very pricey..:D. I got it at the Bodega tackle shop, nevertheless

I'm a tuber, whatever Ken has at Bodega Tackle.  I think it's a two pack.  Has a rattle.  I might go heavier than 1.5oz. depending on the drift.  Mostly for hali...swimbaits as well for sure though... :smt006

The FnS guys are all over those, especially Jerry's Notorious Custom brand. I finally bought a pair of the nice ones from Bodega and they worked very well but I snagged them off, so I ordered some from Notorious and they also caught. I got a deep red and a candy-corn. I set them up as donkey rig off a 3-way.
They will be my new go-to after bounced bait for lingcod, RF, cabs and maybe halibut.

Donkey rig is a good move. Thanks.  3-way?  So one doesn’t slide?

The donkey rig looked like a jackass system to me in that they can just sort of wrap around each other, except that it seems to really work with multiple doubles. I tie one about 8 inches shorter than the other so they are uneven.

I can vouch for the fact that SD catches lotsa nice halibut on these…
I don't like stuff that sucks.
