Good luck. Last time I was there the tide was pretty high and I went a little further through some openings into some flats than I usually do, with nothing to show for it.

Last time I went out during a King Tide, I mistimed my paddle and wound up regretting it. I ended up needing to drag my kayak up on shore and wait it out. I'm a big guy and a strong paddler but I was paddling like a maniac just to hold my position on the incoming tide. And the fishing was terrible to boot. Hope that you fared better.
