Don't we have a hook-up through Okuma on the site? I've been looking around, but can't seem to find a link.

I don't remember a "hook-up" per se, but one of our members "RikShaw" the former Cobra rep is now an Okuma rep and I believe Scwafish is still in touch with him.  I believe they usually hook us up with some prizes for the AOTY species awards.

You guys said the word Okuma. I talked with Ric earlier today. He is very excited about their new Okuma label fishing 'yak, the Baidarka. It looks a lot like a Cobra Maraduder  8)

To celebrate the lauch they are offering a package deal complete with 4 flushmounts, 3 hatches, a seatback and paddle for only $999 plus shipping ($120 or so).

I'm a big believer in supporting your local paddle shop, but at a price like that, well - FYI if you know anyone looking for a ready to fish Marauder er Baidarka.

Well, it IS made by Cobra. So the similarity is not surprising.

It is a Marauder with different graphics.  Okuma has been very supportive of yak fishing since Ric joined them.
