Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend stared off slow for me on the Kokanee bite. After 3 hours of no bites, I called my Lucky Lady. I’ve always joke about it, but now I have some video! Have any of you experienced the same?

I guess I should have posted photos instead of just the video. NM has been kicking out some nice fish and they keep getting better, at around 50’.

Nice fish Rod!

I'm actually surprised we don't get more reports from NM,  I still have yet to fish there but it seems like a productive lake. The muscle inspections are making it much more difficult for the power boats there. Is a muscle or whatever inspection required for kayaks?

Enjoy those inland salmon!

No inspections but no trailers in the water. The FnS crews have been limiting.

I’ve been getting on the water about 6am most limits are caught before 10am, on the Memorial Day weekend with all the boats it was just before noon. I launch out of Tuttle Town so the ramp is closed to boats through the week, but you can wheel your kayak up and down the ramp. On fri, sat and sun the ramp is open from 630 to 830. You can wheel down before they open and then drive down to pick your kayak up. With the trailer, I was told to just not let the carpet on the bunks touch the water.
