I finally got salt all over the place.

it was awesome.  my Outback with the seat dropped to the lowest setting was dang stable.  the waves were substantial.  in a lake, I would have been nervous.  but out there, I kinda acclimated to the motion.  plus my kayak was darn near empty.  very light.   it was not crowded and I think I know why.  the fish were not biting.

I did catch one halibut that was about 14" long.  (no skunk)..but nothing to bring home.  my bud got one similar.  that was it.

I fished a drop shot fluke, and then a Hali-rigged anchovy.  I got the halibut on the anchovy.    fun and I learned a lot about the capability of a Hobie outback.

(rockfish adventure next!!)
