Let me preface this by saying I am a terrible golfer. I score my rounds by how many balls I lose. I just recently started hitting balls and have been having fun learning how to play.

That being said I am bringing my golf gear to Shelter Cove for the Gimmie Shelter weekend coming up.

Anyone interested in hitting some balls there?

I score my rounds by how many balls I lose.

Does high score or low score win? If the former, I’d be unbeatable…

I've never been a golfer - other than disc golf.  A buddy in high school tried to show us how to hit the ball one afternoon - it was a lot harder than I thought it'd be!

I don't see many people golfing the little course around the landing strip, but I'm usually on the water!  I've always wondered how far any of the drives could be, with houses surrounding all of it.

Friday afternoon sounds like a good time - have fun, and let me know how it goes.   :smt001

I've always wanted to play the SC golf course. Hope you have a good time.

Please post a report/review of the course and your round. Pics would be nice too.

Have fun! :smt006

Maybe Im the minority here (prob not), but the thought of travelling to paradise, only to be punished (good golfers call it humbled) by a game, sounds terrible.  But at least the green fees are probably cheap.   :smt044

I golf all the time, but I suck, and mostly dont like it, but I do it all the time.  Why you may ask?  Who TF knows?  Golf...

Fishing is better  :smt044
