Encounter with the Law added Squid Game on the water

You're so entertaining to watch. I showed my grandpa a few of your sillier videos in MB before he passed last year. I've learned a lot from you. Hope to run into you in person one day. I'll be headed to MB from Fresno tomorrow for the RF opener. Thanks for the video.

That seemed to have gone well and proves that they can validate you have a license while out on the water.  Glad it didn't cost you a ticket, and well you friggen slayed them squids! 

Is there an App for the DFG or did you just have a picture of it on your phone?  I may switch to a phone method and leave the original at home since I have lost it a few times like you either on the water or in my car.

Yes DFG app is very good. I've lost 3 phones in the water in the past so I stopped bringing my phone on the yak 
They are not required to verify your license on the water so they could've taken the easy way and given me a ticket.

Didn't NoWhereMan have a similar encounter last year, and receive a citation? I think he was trying to get the app to open and it wouldn't, so they gave him a citation ... I might have some details mixed up tho.
