This is my first attempt at putting anything together that I have recorded with my helmet cam. The big fish didn't make an appearance while I was recording. Lots of fish on light tackle is a blast!
Hope it turns out and hope you enjoy it.
It might take a while to load. A little over 3 minutes long.

Hey Tote,  that was pretty cool.
What kind of helmet cam setup do you have?  My wife just picked up some of those relatively inexpensive $90 ones for work and I took one to BAMIII.  I'll be posting my first video soon.

It was the ATC-2000 by Oregon Scientific. I took a batters helmet and cut off each side  that goes over the ears. I drilled a hole in the bill of the helmet and on each side of the helmet. This way I can mount the cam wherever I want. When I recorded this I had it on the bill. It was on the underside of the bill so it was right between my eyes. It did not interfere with my vision at all. With a little more practice I will have everything I want in the frame every time. I can easily take the helmet off and put it back on and because of all the foam on the inside it stays in place without having to deal with any straps. Looks a bit dorky but who cares? I am FISHING!!!!
I thought the song 'Down With The Sickness' was appropriate. :smt003

Great work, Mike!  I've been wanting to do some helmet cam action for a long time.  I like your audio, ya sicko!   :smt001

Great video and sound track, Tote! Where were you fishing? Missed you and Becky at BAM III, but I'm glad you've got your priorities in order: The Islander! See you guys then, but, in the meantime, let's see more videos!

You can get it wet but I would not submerge it. If it gets splashed on I wouldn't worry about it. It is an action cam not a waterproof diving cam. I can record for 1 hour an a 2 gig SD card.

I actually did some shallow snorkeling with the one and it did fine.  The manufacturer says it can withstand depths to 10 ft.  Just be sure to keep the o-rings clean and coated with the silicone grease they supply.

As for time, you can bump the resolution and/or frame rate down a bit and it'll hold up to 3 hrs or so on a 2 gb card.
