If you already own a SharkShield, this would seem a good way to go. However, the business itself, Ocean Guardian,  has not been open or operational for a while. I sent my 7 off to them to be repaired back in May and have not heard anything from them. YMMV...

Hey Ernest! I’m getting ready to print the charging plug on the 3d printer. Is there any percentage of infill for each half or is it solid?

-Cam
The plug is so small, I used 100% infill. Retainer just go with 3 wall, 15% infill should be enough.

Ocean Guardian was liquidated, and is no more. The intellectual rights were sold to a Scuba Shop in Florida.  Killshot Spearguns. There is no information on their site about it.

Ocean Guardian is no more? Well crap…Looks like I’m out $450 then. Oh well. I wonder why they went belly up.

Sorry to change the topic of the thread here, but since Ocean Guardian has shut down I have been curious how difficult it would be to make an open source DIY version of a shark shield.  It seems really simple to get a taser circuit and a small waterproof battery box, place the electrodes into 2 separate scupper holes then just have it pulse every 2-3 seconds.  Unsure how careful you'd need to be to avoid it being classified as an electrofishing method which is definitely illegal though.
