I think I enjoy getting ready for crabbing more than actually crabbing. Grand visions of sacks full of jumbos quickly give way to scratching for scrawny, beat up crabs as the wind builds and the swell starts to make you seasick.

very nice.
what type paint did you use on your buoys?  mine need freshening up.

there is something about crabbing.  The prep, the anticipation, the excitement with each pull...is it heavy? feels heavy...is it rock crabs or dungies....sigh, I got a rock.

I just used what I had on hand: bull’s-eye 123 primer and green porch paint. I sanded the buoys first, but I am doubtful it will hold up very well.
