Isleton largemouth and smallies 10-4 to 10-7 *pics

First off let me say beautiful up there! A little windy and a tiny bit on the cold side at first light but well worth it. Stayed at Vierras Resort from Thursday 7-4 until this morning when I left. I know I said last trip was my last kayak trip but I took them with me because I needed a better trip since my last misfortune last week. The fishing was wide open in the same spots all day for 4 days, three different areas I fished. Nothing huge but I did get a few in the mid 3's, and this was my first time

catching smallmouth. Wow, what good fighters! I only caught about a dozen of them over the few days I was there. Most fish came on shad raps ripping them through the rip-rap  and I did get a few on jerkbaits in the weed beds.

I am sore from all the paddling I did. Friday I went from Vierras and paddled up to the Isleton boat launch. Then on Thursday I launched from Vierras and paddled down to where it met the deep water channel and fished that ara where I lost a good 5-6-7 pound fish. I was so bummed, but it's ok!

Did ya hear of any Salmon being Catch @ Vierras?

LOTS OF BOATS trolling for salmon, only saw one caught the 3.5 days I was there, only heard of 3.

I saw you out there paddling around. I was with a friend in his boat looking for salmon with no luck. I heard of only two weighed in at Vierras on Saturday.

 I was talking to a few boats today out @ miller park while we were training with our Fireboats,

 Not too good,  One guy, (who had 150lbs of clams on his small boat ), said he has only pulled

 up 3 this year,  He also said something about " Scientist have documented that our fish are in

 Brittish Columbia"...?
