On this week's episode of TLA. Join me for a recap of the exciting Monterey Bay Kayak Fishing Tournament directed by Tournament Director Adam Helm and hosted by Monterey Bay Kayaks (MBK)! 🌊

This year the tournament saw over 100 skilled kayakers paddle out to compete for the top spot, showing off their fishing skills in beautiful Monterey Bay. The event wasn’t just about the competition, though—it was also a chance to give back! The tournament held an amazing raffle with all proceeds supporting Kayak Fishing for Beginners, a non-profit dedicated to helping new anglers, veterans and people with disabilities experience the joy of kayak fishing.

As always, the event was filled with great food, a fantastic potluck, and an unforgettable after-party that brought everyone together to celebrate a day well spent on the water.

Adam and his team did a good a job as you can ask for. Can't ask the fish to cooperate but event ran smoothly. Everyone was safe on the water and made it back unscathed. BBQ by johnnyAb was awesome and he even brought some yellwotail and BFT sashimi! talk about getting spoiled!! Hope to see some of you guys next year!! -- TLA
