launched Saturday, trying for a sequel to the week prior.
NWS had the swell at 0ft @ 0seconds lol.
There was actually a decent south swell running, low tide at 8am, high at 230pm.
a slow pick of fish but consistent. I think by the session end I'd landed 7 browns, a cab, a nice verm, a couple gophers, a dab, and my one halibut. Not a monster @ 26" but I'll take it.
came on a whole squid with a trap hook setup, leader of about 28"

glorious ocean conditions with blue chrome seas and some lavender marine layer.
saw one other kayaker roll past us at the lot with a big fat hobie and a bumper sticker of :
ID RATHER BE F---ING

 

Sounds like a productive day on the water! Even if you didn't limit out of halibut, a verm rockfish is a nice consolation prize.
