Hey everyone! I'm Brian and I live in San Francisco. I have quite a bit of experience kayak fishing in Florida, but never in the Bay. A friend and I are trying it out tomorrow at Half Moon Bay on a 16' tandem Ocean Kayak - HMU if you'll be out there, we have a radio and other safety equipment, but we'd love to have a buddy out there too!

Welcome aboard Brian  :smt006.  There are some kayakers will be there tomorrow.  Try talking to them on CH 69.

welcome! how did the trip to HMB go?

Thanks! Pretty well for a maiden trip, but unfortunately I left all our bait in the freezer at home so we had to do a little scramble to find some nearby. I got a little croaker on the first cast ever off the kayak and we picked up four rockfish all around 12" near the green buoy.
