Yesterday, this Friday evening, after drive daughter to SFO to go back school, drive to Rockaway and launch my AI at 06:00pm.

I originally thought its easy to get some rockfish or lingcod before dark, because every time I went Rockaway, at San Pedro Rock there, catch the rockfish like taking them from refrigerator, its easy and never empty hand back home.

But this time don't know why, turn around the San Pedro Rock, no single bite, can you believe? landing Rockaway at 10:00pm and went back home with empty hand.

That area that time only me on the water, maybe this is the hint that no fish there?

Sorry to hear about the skunk.

I don’t often ocean fish late afternoon/evening, but the few times I’ve tried it, fishing has generally been terrible. So, maybe that was a factor.
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Dang, tough evening. Like you said, Rockaway is usually fairly productive. I've never fished the evening there, but I've often thought about it - looks like you are least had nice weather.

Thanks for the report, Mr. X. I enjoy that you always seem to be doing something unusual.
