Aug 14 FGC Meeting - Non-Motorized Vessel Petition

Our petition (2023-11) is on the 8/14/2024 FGC meeting agenda.
The meeting is at Fortuna, CA. (River Lodge Conference Center, 1800 Riverwalk Drive).

At this meeting, FGC will decide whether to grant, deny, or refer our petition for additional review. CDFW staff recommendations will be available soon.
We need your supporters to attend in-person or online and cede time to the designated speakers.

I plan to attend in person to make a presentation.

I'm not in the US during this meeting, but I can join by Zoom. I forgot how to cede time to a speaker. According to the following, I need to email the Commission and let them know who I cede my time to. Should I tell them I cede my time to you Paul?

CDFW recommendation was published today.

"The California Department of Fish and Wildlife recommends this petition be denied at this time due to the request being largely fulfilled with the recently adopted recreational groundfish regulations and the management and enforcement challenges described above." 

Based on this recommendation from CDFW, we will have an uphill battle.  We will point out that our season was reduced by 33%, and recently adapted regulations didn't address this issue.
