Anchor Bay 9/30

Deweasel and I hit Anchor Bay for the last day of the rock fish season.  It was a great day: warm and calm, but I still managed to dump my yak when the whitewater hit it broadside on entry; paying more attention to Dewease than to myself.  After giving the reel a field strip and washing out the sand at the cleaning station, I joined Dewease outside the cove.  He was already radioing me reports of lots of fish by the time I reached him.  Lost count of the number of fish C&R including 3 or 4 underlings.  Took one legal ling inside the cove on a swim bait 1 vermi, and some huge blacks.  Dewease got one black that was an absolute monster!  Met and fished with one other yakker, didn't catch his name - good guy; says he cruises the site but he's not registered.  Anyway it was a great day.

Nice stringer there Joe. Remember to Low brace seaward when you get broadside to a wave.

NICE, great way to end a short season. Any vultures waiting for you on the Highway?? How was the new wet suit Dave? Warm? Wish I could have made it but after 72 needed to recoup. Glad to see you guys had fun.

Hey we missed you bud, but after a 72 hr shift I can't blames you for sitting that one out and keeping the peace at home.  Live to fish another day and you get to keep all of your stuff instead of just half !!!!

Way to go out with a BANG fellas!   Thems' some nice ones and good lookin conditions too end it on too.
